While his dad showed him the basics, Bennie figured out every feature this hammond organ had to offer, and this was where his very first beat was made! From playing around in trackers like Skaletracker, Fasttracker to Fruity Loops (FL Studio), Cubase and Studio One, Bennie managed to perfection his skills more and more. Quick forward to now Bennie achieved a lot of success with both his personal website (Bennie Mellies) and his music website (Benn-i Productions).

Music has always been an import part of Richard’s life. At an early age he played his father’s vinyl records and was enchanted by the sounds of musical geniuses like Ennio Morricone, the Gibb Brothers and many Motown artists. In the mid eighties Hip Hop music also became part of this musical palette.
No sooner than the in the early nineties he discovered how to make music himself, by using the Commodore Amiga computer and a music tracker program called Protracker.
It allowed users to create sequences of notes called “patterns”, which were chained together to form a complete song. He knew then he had found his passion and spent many hours in his bedroom studio perfecting his skill.
It was also a time when house music became more and more popular. A subgenre in house music called, Gabber or Hardcore was also on the rise. Richard immediately fell in love with the fast paced, energetic distorted beats and started producing hardcore tracks on the Amiga. He knew then he had found his passion and together with his high school friend Eelke Kalberg (talented producer and founder of Dash Berlin, Alice Deejay and Vengaboys), they founded a hardcore act called G-Town Madness. History was Made.
In the years to come they produced numerous hits like Silence, The Legacy Continues and Here it Comes. Richard and Eelke also worked closely together with other big names in the scene like DJ Isaac, Dj the Viper and Attic & Stylzz (Lock ’n Load, Sound Enhancers)
As a dj and live act, Richard performed at many many big festivals and party’s all over the world, like Thunderdome, Defqon, Mysteryland and Dancevalley to name a few. He left the group as an active member, but still works behind the scenes every now and then.
Richard always had a great love for Hip Hop and Urban music. He was therefore fortunate to meet his longtime friend and fellow producer Don Cartel (Spinning Records). Together they worked as a producer and talent scout for the PM label group and released several tracks on their label Danja Beatz, featuring artists like Yes-R, Lina Ice and Kalibwoy.
Today, Richard is owner and co-founder of Beatmillionaire, together with his friend and business partner Bennie Mellies. It’s an entrepreneurial dream come true, as they work hard building their brand and concept in today’s digital music industry.
